This week's buzzzz.....

                    Come on over to Sope Creek on Saturday, May 3 from 9:00am to 12:00pm to help "spring clean" our campus!  Everyone is invited.  Bring your rake, shovel, gloves, and brown paper trash bags.  The class with the highest participation will receive a flower for their teacher. 

Thank you for all of your support during CRCT testing week!  I am so proud of the students for ALL being here and on time for our testing!!  Each student will receive an extra throw for being here and on time every day, at the dunk tank that will be here on May 7th for Field Day!  Mrs. Whalen will be the first in the tank, but many staff members will follow!  Keep up the nice work.  It helps everyone feel prepared for doing our best during this important week.  We couldn't do it without you!  And don't forget to encourage extra zzzzz....'s during this time as well! 

Have a wonderful weekend.  Thank you to all of the parents who sent in treats during testing week, and volunteered time and water for Field Day.  You are such an important part of our success here at Sope Creek!

News from the hive....

Dear Yellow Jacket Families,

I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break!  It won't be long now, and hopefully we'll be "back" at the beach!!  Only a few weeks left, but still lots to accomplish.

Next week begins Sope Creek's CRCT testing.  Testing letter in  yellow Friday folder this week.  Please be sure your child(ren) get plenty of rest, eat a healthful breakfast, and are here each day and on time.  There is always a class award by the office if everyone is here and on time each day!!  It is very important in allowing the children to be and feel prepared.
