END OF THE YEAR STUFF

NEXT WEEK FUN:

Next week, we have some fun days planned.
Monday:  Friends Forever Day:  Children bring their yearbooks or we'll have an autograph book made for them to have their friends sign.  We'll have some fun friends games and things to do too.  It will be lots of fun.

Tuesday:  Read Me Day:  Children need to wear a shirt with LOTS of words on it.  The entire first grade will be looking for words on the children's shirts.  :)  It's another exciting day for the kids.  Also, children may bring in a chapter book or two to read.

Wednesday:  Game Day:  Children may bring a board game in from home.  Please make sure your child's name is on the game and they know how to play it.  They will be teaching friends how to play these games during the day.  :)

Thursday:  Beach Day: The children may bring a beach towel in and wear beach clothes.. PLEASE NO BATHING SUITS!!!!  We will be playing beach games and having a "Beach Party" later in the day.

Friday:  Clean Up/Pack Up Day:  Each child needs to bring an old sock that we will throw away at the end of the day.  We will be cleaning our room, putting things away for the summer, and packing things up for the anticipation for our move to 2nd grade.  :)

3.       Our PTA Reflections Committee wants to you to put on your thinking cap this summer.  Next school year’s PTA Reflections theme is “WOW” which lets the imagination run wild!  The program is open to all students at Sope Creek.  The categories for Reflections are Literature, Musical Composition, Visual Arts, Photography, Film/Video Production, and Dance Choreography.

4.       And speaking of themes, Sope Creek is going green next year and our theme is “WE ARE WHAT WE GROW.”   We work to help our children grow into wonderful adults.
