Can you believe it is already April?! This year is just flying by! I hope all of you enjoy Spring Break and get some nice rest and relaxation.
When we come back, it is going to be a busy time for us. 3rd graders will be taking the CRCT starting on the Tuesday that we come back. Please continue to work with your child at home on CRCT practice. A website and password came home with your child a few months ago. Please continue to practice!
During the CRCT week, 3rd graders will not be doing book club, spelling or sight words. They will not have any homework for the week. I really want them to be rested and ready for the tests. The work that the 3rd graders will be doing in my classroom will be review for the tests.
As of right now, I am not in charge of testing any 3rd graders. The thought behind this was so that I can keep my 2nd graders on their regular schedule. So, right now, 2nd graders will continue to come and have a normal day in my room. If they don't have enough teachers to test, then they will pull me to do the testing. I will let you know if something changes.
