Welcome back! I was so happy to see all of my wonderful students this morning as they walked through the door. I think that all of them grew over the break!! I hope everyone had a great vacation and enjoyed friends and family.

Thank you again to our wonderful pet caretakers. We really appreciate all of you giving them a wonderful home to stay in over the vacation.

This semester is going to be great! We will be planting more with our park rangers, starting a new research project, teaching other students about plants and much, much more! I am so excited!

We will be headed to the computer lab on Friday of this week in order to get some ideas of what we would like to research this semester. Instead of presenting on the computer this time, we are going to make our own immersion walls. We have become masters at immersion walls, so I know they are ready for this challenge. Each student will research their topic and then form their own immersion wall in order to show all they have learned. Their immersion wall will be on a tri-fold poster board. Please be on the look out for tri-fold poster boards. We don't need them yet. I will send out information to let you know when we will need them sent in. If you are not able to get one, we will have some here as well.
