Busy Bee Buzz

The Bees are very excited about the upcoming holidays and I am happy to be  part of their excitement. It is always interesting learning about each others traditions. We all enjoyed our trip on the Polar Express read to us by Ms. Appleyard. Everyone loved wearing their comfortable pajamas to school and sipping hot chocolate after the story. The Bees are also very busy making special  holiday projects.

We also have begun our travels to Canada and Mexico. The children will be rotating to each first grade class every day to learn about a different aspect of these countries including map skills, wildlife, ancient peoples, symbols, holidays, and food.

Reminders:

Please bring in a large brown paper grocery bag on Monday for an art project.

If you have not sent in the white t-shirt, please send it in as soon as possible. We need it for our holiday party.
