WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MUSIC WITH MRS. TOWLE?

In music class 5^th and 4^th grade students are exploring the Essential Question “How does a melody alone compare and contrast to the same melody when it is started at 3 different times?" Students are learning to play a melody in a three-part round on the barred Orff instruments to change the texture of sound (harmony).

In music class 3^rd and 2^nd grade students are exploring the Essential Question “How do I make my own music?” Students are creating original melodies using 5 tones (Pentatonic Scale).
