Math: Fourth graders will work on estimating sums and differences. Fifth graders will work on writing numbers in standard, expanded and written form and decimal place value.
English/ Language Arts: Fourth and fifth graders will work on identifying main idea and writing a focused paragraph.
Science: Fifth grade will continue their study of micro - organisms. Fifth graders will have a visit from the Mad Scientist this week and they will continue the Seeds of Nutrition program in their homeroom classes.

9/28 - Chorus begins! Tryouts were unable to take place due to the weather. All 4th and 5th graders who are interested and returned their permission slips will be able to participate in Chorus!
9/30 Mad Scientist will be visiting the 5th grade. (funds provided by the Boosterthon Fun Run)
9/30 Fall deadline for the Foundation Brick Campaign.
10/1 Coke Rewards Due. Codes can be entered online or dropped off in the Coke Rewards basket in the front office. Details are available on the PTA blog.
10/2 Beauty Is... Reflections entries due. Details are available on the Sope Creek blog.
