We had a fun,busy day. We have new homework in our folders. I went over the words and discussed the newest choices . I would love to see a story and alphabetical order ...however it is their choice.
Please do the math and log in their reading each night. ...Parents please sign their homework too.
We wrote our weekend news and will read them on Wednesday. We had reading groups.
We began a math unit on comparing and ordering numbers. (greater than, less than).
In Social Studies we will learn our address and phone number, city, state, county,and country.
You will see a different morning work. We have a story and comprehension questions on the back of the paper.Please look at it with your child nightly.

Dear Students and Parents, The first ever Sope Creek Family Movie Night is coming on January 20, 2012. It is being sponsored by the Student Council. We will be showing The Smurfs and National Treasure 2. Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase, but you can BYOC (Bring Your Own Candy). We will be expecting that you bring your parents because this is a family event –– no drop offs, please. So mark your calendar –– January 20 7:00-9:00 in the cafeteria and the media center. Optional donation for Must Ministries gladly accepted. Thank you The Movie Night Committee
