This is a special day for us as we welcome some new friends who will be joining us for a "taste of Target" today. They will begin coming each week to Target starting in Second Grade.
After introductions and welcoming, we begin with a review of logical thinking strategies and then tackle two logic puzzles and some word bogglers. We then think of some bighearted people and analyze their character traits. We read about Thidwick and compare and contrast him to our other generous Seuss favorite, Horton. We learn about symbiotic relationships and then use our creativity to design some new friends for Thidwick in a very special way.
We end our day with a small celebration of friendship.
