About Jackie Robinson (Joseph, 2nd, Hosey)

      I want to tell you about Jackie Robinson.  When Jackie started playing baseball, African Americans and White Americans couldn’t be on the same league.  But, one day a white person named Branch Ricky hired Jackie.  Jackie scored his first run in his first game.  Jackie got 125 runs in the baseball season.  People didn’t like Jackie so they tried to kick him with their spikey cleats and throw the ball at his head.  He just kept on trying.  I hope you enjoyed it.
