Librarian For A Day

For the first time ever, Sope Creek's Octoberfest offers a unique experience for those who are interested in experiencing A Day in the Life of a Librarian!  One lucky student will be selected to become Librarian For a Day (specific day to be determined later) and learn what it's like to work in the Library in an elementary school.  This Librarian-In-Training will get to check out books to classes, catalog and process books as they come in, learn to return the books to the shelves, check on and fix technology equipment, run the Sope Creek News Network morning announcements, and maybe even teach a class!  Interested students or parents should stop by the cafeteria before school this week and purchase a $5 raffle ticket (or several!).  Tickets will also be on sale the day of the Octoberfest: this Saturday, October 9th.  Check out the Sope Creek PTA blog here for more information about this exciting Sope Creek event!
