Awesome Learners!
The Exceptional Children Committee (ECC) educates teachers, parents, and students about topics relevant to children with academic, physical, and/or social challenges. Throughout the school year, the ECC conducts workshops and provides reading materials for parents and teachers. Each February, the ECC presents programs during Ability Awareness Week to build awareness of different learning styles, share information about effective teaching strategies for different learners, and teach acceptance of all learners.
ABILITY AWARENESS WEEK IS FEBRUARY 8 – 12, 2010!!!
