Are you working on your summer reading? It is time to get busy.
Lillian is learning all sorts of new things.
She isn't sure if her mom and dad know what they are doing with this bath thing!!
She wants to know if they have a driver's license for this thing!
She likes hanging out with her grandfather!
I want all of you to have a great summer, but I also want you to get off to a good start in middle school. The key to that is to not let go of all the skills you worked so hard to gain. Be sure to check the blog for your middle school and get a good start on your reading list. Remember, the books you read and record this summer count toward your twenty-five required book equivalent for sixth grade. Read, and record what you read! There is a written assignment for both schools! Follow the link for the written report.

If you are not going to a public middle school check with your school. If they do not have a list, use the one for either public middle school.
Remember math fact for sixth graders are sixty facts in a minute. Use one of our math links to practice until you can exceed the sixty facts in a minute. Start the sixth grade with a head start!
Be safe and be smart this summer ( and don't forget your sunscreen. All you have to do is look at your uv beads to see how much sun your skin is getting).
Rest and relax. Lillian sure knows how to do that already.
