Writers Workshop
This week the students will continue researching famous people and events. Robert Scott, Edgar Allen Poe, Josh Gibson, Carry A. Nation and Lyndon B. Johnson.
They will choose to write a story, write an ad or make a poster as a response to reading Wolves.
Reading
Wolves an informational selection describes how wolves live and survive in the wilderness.
Read Aloud; Indian in the Cupboard
Skill Groups; The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
Math
Test on Wednesday. The students should be able to use and recognize the following vocabulary; line segment, radius, diameter, right angle, acute angle, obtuse angle, equilateral triangle, isosceles triangle and scalene triangle.
Science
The students will investigate the habitats of different organisms and the dependence they have on their habitat.
