Day Five began with an observation in each of the classrooms, giving teachers an opportunity to see the beginning of the day and morning meeting time. Students learned about the variety of activities that would be included in the day, and about the guest visitors.
Elementary Stage One Participants returned to their meeting space and had a surprise birthday party for Keisha. When Keisha entered, the room was empty except for Mr. McCook and his bag pipe playing "Happy Birthday." Everyone surprised her by filing out of the kitchen with hats, cards and balloons, and sang "Happy Birthday" and then they ate cake.

After the party, teachers continued to work on Stages 1 and 2, and students prepared their final projects for their audience.
Primary students prepared a variety of materials that could be given to Children's Health Care of Atlanta to help comfort children who have to get an MRI. They then presented the projects to Ms. Chandra from Children's Health Care of Atlanta!
Intermediate students prepared a variety of projects showing what they learned about Survival and about Model Teaching Week.
Middle School students wrote persuasive pieces on the topic of genetics/genetic engineering or the economy.
After students prepared and presented their products, students were interviewed about their week during MTW and how they felt about this week in comparison to the regular school year.
