1. dictionary- a book giving information on particular subjects or on a particular class of words, names, or facts, usually arranged alphabetically: a biographical dictionary; a dictionary of mathematics.
2. character –a person, thing or animal in a story, book, poem, movie and play
3. drama- a written work that tells a story through action or speech and is intended to be acted out
4. event- a happening in a story, book, play or poem
5. explicit-so clear in a statement that there is no doubt about the meaning
6. figurative language- a way of creating interesting images with words by using language that have more meaning than what the words actually say
7. genre- a category used to classify literature
8. inference- a conclusion drawn/ made from prior knowledge , evidence and clues
9. addition- the operation of combining groups to find the total amount

10. algorithm- a step-by-step method for solving a problem

11.  area model- a pictorial replica or figure used to represent area

12. array- an arrangement of objects in equal rows  and columns

13. decimal- the dot used to separate the ones from the tenths place in a decimal number
