Hello Magician Parents!
The wall has been opened!!! We had a week full of learning and fun with the Coral Reef Crew (Mrs. Christofoli's class). The highlight of the week was "Sweet Treat" Friday! The Magicians did a fabulous job describing their "mystery treat." The best part was eating all the yummy treats. Thank you to those parents who sent in treats for the class! Below are what the Magicians are learning in each subject:
Language Arts: continuing writing personal narratives, identifying long & short vowel sounds, nouns, adjectives and writing topic & closing sentences.
Math: adding two digit numbers with & without regrouping, greater than/less than, place value and addtion facts 1-5. Thanks to Mrs. Cartrett (Chase's mom) we have a fabulous SEC Football graph outside our classroom. Every Monday, the kids help put footballs on the graph to show the number of wins.The Magcians will work on certain skills this week using IXL...see homework sheet!!!
Social Studies: naming directions on a compass rose & working on map skills. Landforms will be introduced as well.
