Final Goodbye
Hello Locomotive Parents- We wanted to send you a quick note to let you know about this year's summer reading activities. In years past a summer reading log was sent home to keep up with summer reading. This year the children are asked to read three books from a suggested reading list and complete a project for each book. The projects should be fun and easy. For example; create a book mark, comic strip or interview one of the characters. More detailed information is included in the envelope with your child's report card. These should be mailed to you soon. I hope that your child will be able to complete this job over the summer and return it to their 3rd grade teacher when the 08-09 school year begins. To all that contributed to our end of the year gift, words cannot express our appreciation. Mostly, thanks for all of your unconditional support throughout the school year.
