Parents- Try to take some time every night to discuss these topics:

Math: group 1-Determining how close numbers are to 10.  ex. 4+__=10

           group 2-Adding and subtraction #1-10.  Review greater and less then.

           group 3-Counting objects 1-20.

2nd & 3rd Writing/Science: Cause and effect of Fall/Autumn.

2nd & 3rd Reading: Focusing on being able to summarize stories by giving important details.

2nd & 3rd Social Studies: Native Americans of Georgia

Social Skills:  Trustworthiness and Truthfulness. 

5th grade Social Studies: Civil War.

5th grade Science: Landforms.
