It was a great day at Sope Creek as we kicked off the Boosterthon Fun Run! I'm excited about our class becoming a team and helping lead them as we get pledges to help our school!
Right out of the gates, we are adding to the excitement by kicking off the school year with the Boosterthon Fun Run! This is one of our main fundraisers of the year, a blast for the students and necessary to support our PTA, Foundation and all the other great thing's we do here at Sope Creek. I know you probably just spent a lot on school supplies, new clothes, etc. No worries. The key to the Boosterthon is to help CONNECT your student with other sponsors. Your students have come home with information via their Pledge Map. Make sure to LOG ON to FunRun.com every night to watch the Character Action Movies and enter pledges. 10% of what our class raises and collects comes back to me to use for supplies in our classroom.
More importantly, make sure you come cheer your student and our class on at he Boosterthon Fun Run on September 1st!
