Friday Night April 18th, is Sope Creek Family Night at the Braves game. The Braves are playing the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Chorus is singing the National Anthem. A special block of seats are reserved for Sope Creek families. Tickets will go on sale next week. Look for more information in your backpack. This is a really fun evening at the ballpark.
Great Job returning picture money. I am not sure we won the party, but we were really close. It is a competitive game. Our pictures were so cute.
Well the time has come for the Jellybeans to practice some more independence in the cafeteria. In preparation for first grade they need to begin to prepare to be without Mrs. Driskell at lunch. Monday March 24th we will have two parapros in the cafeteria for the entire lunch period. They will be looking after every K class during lunch. This means the children need to remember to get their fork, napkin, ketchup etc. before they are seated. Once they are sitting they are not allowed to get up. If they raise their hand a parapro will come and assist them. They will not get them ketchup, but will give extra napkins and forks. I hope this is a smooth transition for everyone. Let me know any feedback you get from your child that might be helpful. We have a great class in the cafe.
We had a wonderful time painting our rainbows using Vanilla pudding as paint. We used the three primary colors to mix all the colors of the rainbow. The best part was we got to lick the 'paint' from our fingers between colors. They are beautiful and delicious! Ask your child which colors we mixed to make green, orange, and purple. Thank you so much to the families who donated pudding and food coloring.
Please check for the newsletter for food request for class activites for next week. Thank you for you contribution.
