Thank you for clothes
Thank you to Charles's Mom and Allie's Mom for sending in some extra clothes. We did not need them on our field trip, but will keep them in the class for another time. I still need boy's pants, shirt, and socks. Thanks.

We had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch. It really felt like Fall, there was a chill in the air. We were told a great story about a boy named Jeremiah who lived in Colonial times. He sure did have a lot of work to do everyday. Ask your child if they can remember anything different about Jeremiah's life. We were then showed the types of toys that children had in Colonial times. They had no batteries or blinking lights. All the toys were made of string and wood. The Jellybeans then painted their own yo-yo (wood and string). The Tractor ride was next. It was great fun. The tractor was very big and shiny red. We sat in an open air trailer and rode through the woods to select our pumpkin. It was fun bumpy ride. After our ride we had our picnic lunch. Thanks so much to our parent volunteers who went with us. We all had a great day!
I am trying to collect a change of clothes for both boys and girls to keep in our classroom. I will take them on the field trip. It will be better to have our own sets instead of counting on the clinic to have our size and correct gender. It will also prevent any embarrassment from walking to the clinic wet. Thank you for any donation you able to send in.
Betty Ann Wylie will be telling stories to the Kindergarten on October 23rd. I am sure she will be very entertaining.

We will be going on our first field trip on October 25th. We will be eating sack lunches. Thank you for returning your permission slips and lunch orders. If you are bringing a lunch from home both the lunch and drink need to be in disposable containers. It is also a good idea to put them in a Ziploc bag with your child's name on the outside. We put them in a big cooler and it helps keep them dry and easy to identify. Thank you.
