When playing games with your children at home, such as Candyland and Chutes and Ladders, please remember that while winning is fun, we need to learn how to lose also.  Always try to let your child win the first game and the last game.  It is important for you to win at least one game in between.  It is ok to beat your children at games.  That is how they learn to lose without having temper fits.

Full Day Parents:  Don’t forget to send in your letter pictures each week.  We use them here in the afternoons.  They are due on Thursdays but can be brought in any other day of the week.

Please remember to sign daily sheets and return.  We keep these on file for our reference/data.

Please welcome Phoebe Westbrook on Tuesday January 17, 2012. Ms. Phoebe will be doing her student teaching in our classroom. She comes to us from Mercer University in Macon.

Don’t forget that Monday January 16 is MLK day. We will not be having school that day.
