Today, Monday, your Hotshot is bringing home a large white paper with directions to sketch a simple drawing of your home. It does not need to be fancy, and please remember it is just a sketch. The Hotshots will paint the house next week when we return from Thanksgiving Holidays. Please return the drowing tomorrow, or next Monday (after Thanksgiving).
The Hotshots will be celebrating Thanksgiving at school with two feasts! (Both are planned for students only.)
Friday, Nov. 16 will be the Kindergarten Hall Feast. We will wear Native American and Pilgrim accessories that we have made in the classroom and sit at a very long table. We will eat snacks that they may have enjoyed at the first Thanksgiving!
Monday, Nov. 19 will be the Sope Creek lunch feast. A turkey dinner will be offered in the cafeteria on the lunch menu. We will all sit together in 'candlelight', students and their teachers. Please have your child wear dressy clothes for this special event! Parents, please do not come to lunch on Monday, as it is a student only event.
Monday, Nov. 5, and Tuesday, Nov. 6 are Student Holidays. Both days are teacher in-service days.
