Field Trip Thursday!

Just a couple of reminders about our trip tomorrow to the Cherokee YMCA:

1)  Wear your Hotshot shirt, comfortable clothing, and walking shoes; and bring a jacket!

2)  If you are bringing your lunch from home, pack it in a disposable container.

3)  We will check the weather there tomorrow morning.  Some of the activities are indoors, but if it raining too much we will try to reschedule.

We're excited about our first Field Trip!!

Kindergarten Report Card Portfolio

Parents:

We have a new Kindergarten report card this year! Today we are sending home a Kindergarten Parent Portfolio that reviews skills to be mastered for each 9 week reporting period on the report card. There is a lot of valuable information in this portfolio, and you will want to keep it and refer to it during the year.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  Additionally, there will be an informational meeting at Sope Creek on October 22, the day the first report card goes home.  It will be presented by Jan Hollis, Cobb County Language Arts representative, at 9:00am.
