Thank you all for coming to Parent Conferences last week. I enjoyed talking with you and sharing how much your child has learned this year already! We had 100 % parent participation and everyone was on time... WOW that says a lot about our wonderful class! Thank you!!
I Love a Book Day was a huge success! The kids looked great in their costumes and sandwich boards! Thank you to Kelli Evertsen for being our "class reader." Kelli dressed up and read to our visiting classes!
High Touch High Tech is coming to our classroom for an in-school field trip on Friday. We will be experimenting and learning about sound... which is our next science unit. Thank you to our wonderful PTA is sponsoring this in- school field trip. Please have your child wear their "Harrie's Hippo" t-shirt on Friday.
SICK OF HALLOWEEN CANDY YET? Please send in all your leftovers so that we can donate it to our troops and send them a sweet treat! We will be collecting wrapped candy to send our troops on Thursday and Friday.
Thanksgiving Food Drive starts on Monday. Please donate can goods and/or boxed items to help others in need this holiday season. They are also collecting change to purchase gift cards for needy families.
HOMEWORK will be sent home on Fridays from now on to let the students have more time. I hope that this gives you some extra time "flex" time to get it finished. Homework is still due on Fridays.
