I hope you all had a great Easter... it was sure nice to see the SUN on a weekend! The students did a marvelous job on their animal posters! Each was unique and the they all enjoyed learning about all the animals that everyone researched. Great job!
PLEASE return your registration card in the stamped (3 stamps attached) envelope by Thursday. All need to be returned. If you are not returning to Sope Creek in the fall-- just write that on the top. The envelopes will be used to send home your child's final report card.
Scholastic Book Orders are due tomorrow.
Mother's Day Tea is on Thursday, May 5th from 8:00-8:30. (If you can not attend... you can send someone in your place. dad?) The students are excited to honor their wonderful moms!
Field Trip to Sibley Pond will be on May 12th from 8:15-10:15 am. Even though it is so close, we need volunteers to drive us there and back. Please let me know if you would like to volunteer! We will be learning about our plants and animals in our neighborhood!
A HUGE thank you to Maria Fair for putting together our "Pool Basket" for the Fun Run! It looks wonderful! Please stop by the Media Center to see ours and ALL of the baskets! They are taking bids! : ) Many are signed up for the Fun Run as well... our class has earned a lava lamp of our own! See you at the RUN!
