We did very well with our story last week, All Eyes on the Pond. We really are learning all about animals in our Georgia Habitat. On Tuesday and Thursday morning, we will be going to the library to research our chosen animal. We will learn researching skills like using the encyclopedias, using periodicals and magazines, and also properly searching the internet.
We will read My Great Aunt Arizona as it is a beautiful story about using your imagination to travel to different places! We are learning so much about graphing, tally tables, and frequency tables. Thursday, we surveyed the classroom and learned about different animals that would make great pets. We made a tally table. Then we transferred the information onto a frequency tables. On Friday, we made bar graph with all the data that was collected. It was a lot of fun!
