A manila folder and a form came home with your child the beginning of this week. Almost half have been returned. If you haven't returned them, please do so to ensure that the 4th quarter progress report will be mailed to you and the correct information will be on file.

Fireflies, Parents and Guardians,

There will be a Soc. St. Ch. 11 TEST on Wednesday, May 14th.  Also, you'll have a math review TEST on Thursday.  We have begun our review in both subjects.  Don't wait until the night before to study.

Fireflies and Families,

Mid-quarter progress reports were sent home today.  If your child received one, please make sure you sign it and return it on Monday.

We will have our final auction the last week of school.  We'll decide the date soon.  In the meantime, please start bringing in auction items.

Hat Day is next Friday, May 9th.  You may wear a hat that day for donating a dollar to support  "Relay for Life".

Field Day is Wednesday, May 7th (rain date Friday, May 9th).  Please wear our class t-shirt.

We have only two more days of CRCT testing.  The science test is on Monday, and the S.S. is on Tuesday.  We've had 100% attendance so far.  Please get rested over the weekend and ready for testing.

Remember that the S.S. project is due on Wednesday, April 30th.

Tomorrow is Sope Creek Campus Clean-up 9 to 12.

I'm reminding you that the Soc. St. project which was originally due this Friday April 25th is due next Wednesday, April 30th.  If anyone finds information about the loom, please share it.

All of you are doing great during testing. Thanks for getting here on time.  Get plenty of rest.

If your Firefly comes home and tells you there is no Soc. St. test on Friday, believe him/her. However, if she/he tells you there isn't a math test...don't believe it.

I'm going out of town and didn't have a chance to make up an appropriate study guide or test for the Soc. St.  However, there is a project due on Friday, April 25th. The information should have come home today with your Firefly.

Remember, we go to Dahlonega on Tuesday next week.  On Wednesday we begin CRCT testing.  There will be very little homework.

Welcome back and TESTS

Welcome Back.  I hope you had a great break...now it's back to work...only 6 more weeks.

There is a TEST in math and one in Soc. St. on Friday.  We have begun reviewing Social Studies and will begin review for the math test on Thursday.

TEST

Good morning.  There's a change for the Social Studies test.  It will cover the three branches of government and will be "open book".  The Chapter 9 test will be after spring break and will include the rest of the material.

One more notice...

April 3rd is the power point book report presentation.  I hope most of you are able to attend.  It's at 11:00, right before lunch.  If you can join your child for lunch, that will be great.  We'll have to eat in the room, which is even better.
