I just wanted to THANK Everyone for the beautiful Dalmatian book the kids made for me.  The pictures and special notes were adorable!!  Also, I wanted to thank you for the yummy breakfast brought in by Nate's mom and I can't wait to get home and share the wonderful dinner that Jack's mom brought in.   A big Thank you goes out to Rylan and Nate's mom for coming in and watching the class while I was able to enjoy a delicious luncheon put on by the PTA.  You are the best parents in the world with the best group of kids in the world!  Thanks again for the plants, flowers and cards and being spoiled for the day!!

We had a great week at the Creek!  The kids are doing a fine job with time and clocks.  If your child is struggling with telling time to the 1/2 hour, you might want to review it at home.  We will continue with this activity next week, so if your child doesn't know when he/she goes to bed or eats dinner, please fill in that blue form and return it. 

We will continue to study George W. Carver next week and have Peanut Day on Monday. Be sure to send in a small sample of your favorite peanut on Mon....if you can. Then we will move on to our study of plants.  In health, we will have a guest speaker next Wed. to go over how our muscles work and how to stay healthy from Wellstar.  In reading, we will immerse ourselves into Dr. Seuss books to celebrate his birthday next week.  If your child has a favorite Dr. Seuss book that he/she would like to bring in to share, please do so.  Also, we are still continuing to review some basic writing skills that your children should have mastered...capital letters, punctuation, word order, nouns, commas, verbs, etc...

Remember to turn in your Six Flags forms by Monday so I can input the data and your kids will get credit for ALL the reading.  Sometime in May, he/she will receive a free ticket to Six Flags to use in June or July of this year. 

Thanks goes to Nathan's mom for being our Helper parent and story parent this week!  Next week, I have Jack's mom as a helper parent and Maggie's mom as the story parent. It is SPIRIT Day next Friday, so be sure to wear your Dalmatian shirt!!  I hope you all have a Fabulous Weekend...bundle-up, it is suppose to get cold again! :(
