Conference letters will be coming home on Monday. Please send them back signed as soon as you can. If you find the time won't work, let me know that and I will give you another time.

COGAT testing started Wednesday.  Your kids are doing such a great job!!  Please make sure that they go to bed EARLY and wake up early enough to eat a healthy breakfast and drink some water/milk so they are Alert and ready for the last test tomorrow!!  Also, make sure your child is all the way down to our door Before the 7:50 bell rings.  If they are late to school, they have to sit in the office and make the test up later.  This is an abilities test to see how your child thinks..and listens and follows directions... it is not a test you can study for. 

I Love a Book Day is scheduled for Monday, October 31st. Be thinking of a book your child loves. You will receive detailed information about this "do at home project" on Monday.

We have been busy studying Ben Franklin and went to the Media Center today to research him.  The students learned about Pebble Go and brought home directions on how to access it at home so that they can show you! Tomorrow, your child and his or her partner will have a chance to make their own invention!  I sent home the "planning" sheet so you and your child can discuss some possible materials they may have around the house to send in tomorrow and share.  Let your child SHINE with his/her creativity!!  Next Tuesday, we will have a surprise visit from Mr. Franklin. Please be sure to ask your children all about the visit.
