March 24 Homework

Homework tonight:

Math- Students were given a review sheet for them to work several problems in each lesson of

Chapter 21. They also brought their packets home to study. Their Chapter 21 test is tomorrow.

Spelling - Word Study for Lesson 22 (Lesson 22 test is Friday)

There will not be a DOL Quiz or Comprehension Test this week :)

Monday, March 24

Today we are reviewing Chapter 21 in Math. Our test is tomorrow. A good way to study for this test is to do some of the problems and activities in each lesson. Students can also use their ReTeach book to study.

We  are enjoying listening to the Animal Project Reports. The students did such a good job on this. I am so impressed with their work. We are also working on writing persuasive paragraphs this week.

Students will be traveling to Mrs. Moschetta for one week of review. They will then move on to Ms. Mills next week for Health review, and then back to me for a Social Studies lesson in economics.

Lang. Arts - We read the story "Grandfather's Journey" this week and will have our comprehension test tomorrow. We will also have our DOL Quiz tomorrow. Students have a review sheet in their Take-Home Folder. We do not have a Spelling Test tomorrow.

Our grammar focus has been on main and helping verbs. We have been playing some fun Smartboard activities relating to verbs and other parts of speech.

Birthday Thank you so much for the surprise celebration of my 1/2 birthday. You all are great at keeping secrets! I had no idea! Thank you for being so sweet and thoughtful. The cake was delicious. My family loved it too! The lunch you brought me was also delicious. I ate every bite, and it was soooo good! The students and I both will enjoy the frog tape dispenser. It will definitely be fun to use in the classroom. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness!
