Conference letters will be coming home on Monday. Please send them back signed as soon as you can. If you find the time won't work, let me know that and I will give you another time.

COGAT testing started today.  We will test again Thursday and Friday.  Please make sure your child is well rested, gets a good breakfast, and is on time to school.  This is an abilities test to see how your child thinks... it is not a test you can study for. 

I Love a Book Day is scheduled for Monday, October 31st. Be thinking of a book your child loves. You will receive detailed information about this "do at home project" on Monday.

 

We have been busy studying Ben Franklin and went to the Media Center on Monday to research him.  The students learned about Pebble Go and brought home directions on how to access it at home so that they can show you! Today we had a great time making our 3 cornered hat, so we could look like Ben Franklin. Some of the children brought them home today and the rest will take them home tomorrow. I took a class picture and will send it to you. Next Tuesday, we will have a surprise visit from Mr. Franklin. Please be sure to ask your children all about the visit.
