A reminder that I Love a Book Day will be Monday, October 31st. A parade through the school is scheduled for just after 8am. Continue to work on your boards and simple character costumes. We would love our parents to park early and line the halls to watch. I want to thank Melanie Landers in advance for agreeing to be our story mom that morning. It's going to be awesome!
We will finish our study of magnets this week. The children have loved all our magnet centers and they will bring home their folders at the end of the week. Next week we will start our study of sound. On Wednesday, we will be have High Touch High Tech come in and teach us all about sound. Thanks to PTA/Foundation for sponsoring this in school field trip. Please have your children wear their class t -shirts that day.
In math we're continuing place value and comparing numbers We will be using number lines and a hundred's grid to help with place value.
