The Boosterthon Fun Run is over and the children were amazing! I was so impressed with all the laps they were able to run. Go Alligators! Now comes the time to collect the pledges. Envelopes will come home today or tomorrow to put all your pledges. The due date is September 13th. Our class will receive 10% of all our classroom money that is turned in by that date to spend for your children. Thanks for all your support!!
Thanks for all the school supplies you have donated this week for our sister school. The children will be so happy to receive them!
In science we will continue working on our weather unit. On Friday the children will have a homework assignment for the next week. It is called A Week of Weather and the children will be charting the weather for 7 days. They can use computers, newspapers or television to find out the information to complete the chart. It is due back on Monday, September 12th. Please continue to collect weather pictures for us to use in a collage. Send them in as soon as you can.
In math we will finish our chapter on addition and will take our chapter test, We've talked about how we can add problems vertically or horizontally. We will start our subtraction chapter next week.
