I've just learned that we will be having our Parent Volunteer Substitute program again this year. This is a two hour block once a month that releases me to participate in staff development on the implementation of the Common Core Standards that were adopted by 48 states, including Georgia. We will start PVS in October! They would like two or more parents to be trained in each class. The children enjoy having their parents in the class and I have all the plans done for you.
There are two options for training dates: August 26 and September 16 from 10:00-10:30 am in the Cafe.
