Yearbooks for Sale

Time is running out to order a yearbook or place a fifth grade ad!  There are usually extra yearbooks that go on sale later in the year, but there's no guarantee!

Famous Americans Important Dates

Due Dates:

Tuesday, Feb. 12th- Research Paper Due
Wednesday, Feb. 20th- Extra Credit Posters due; Index Card speech due
Tuesday, Feb. 26th- Paper Bag with framed picture and artifacts due
                 Thursday, Feb. 28th- Set-up at school 3:30-4:15
                 Friday, Feb. 29th- FAMOUS AMERICANS RECEPTION; arrive at school in costume; bring food on this day; Parade starts at 9:30; Reception from 10:00-11:00

Candy Houses

Thank you to those who volunteered to donate candy and other supplies for our candy houses.  The candy and graham crackers can start being sent in the week of December 17th.  Please wait to send in frosting until Friday, December 21st.  Thanks!

Holiday Bears

There are holiday bears in the front of the school that have items of need on them.  If you desire to help out one of our Sope Creek families and make a giftcard donation this season, that would really help out!  Happy Holidays!

Family Heritage Day

Don't forget that Family Heritage Day is Wednesday, December 19th!!  The students have a choice to complete a family tree or do an I-Search.  They will be sharing their projects with the class on the 19th.  Extra credit for bringing food or dressing up!

Class Gift Exchange!

We decided today at class meeting that we will draw a secret pal to give gifts to for the holidays.  The gifts will be given the last week of school and will follow this schedule as decided by the class:

Tuesday, December 18th-card
Wednesday, December 19th-something made by you
Thursday, December 20th- something edible
Friday, December 21st- big gift (remember our money limit)
